Concrete slab construction

The rapid completion of work is particularly important on motorways and express ways. For this reason, we instal concrete slabs using the slip-form technique in the course of such projects. This is made possible by what is referred to as a slip-form paver, which allows us to work quickly and achieve optimal paving quality.

Manual construction.

For smaller surfaces, varying pavement widths, twisting surfaces and roadways, we instal the concrete slabs manually.

Roundabouts with concrete lanes.

Due to the high centrifugal forces within a roundabout and the high deceleration and acceleration forces at its access roads, roundabouts are exposed to enormous loads which concrete can absorb much more efficiently than asphalt. Therefore the durability of a roundabout is greatly increased by a concrete surface. 

Inner-city concrete slabs.

Crossroads in cities are subject to particularly high loads. Here, high braking and accelerating forces occur, which can be better absorbed by concrete. In bus bays, concrete prevents the deformation that often results from the heat of the engine on asphalt.

Concrete slabs for outdoor facilities and parking spaces.

Concrete surfaces offer advantages in logistics centres with increased heavy traffic on the loading ramps, as well as for truck parking areas, which undergo heavy loads from the weight of the vehicles. Concrete is often also a good choice for the aesthetic design of outdoor facilities. For these facilities, we use special concretes, such as coloured concrete.

Concrete flight traffic areas.

Of course, heavy-duty concrete surfaces play a particularly important role in airport construction. In the end, the safety of the passengers is the most important factor. Our concrete surfaces ensure that parking areas, taxiways and runways provide this safety over many years.
